Meanwhile in my town in Canada you have to pay $100/month to use a walking track in a building that was paid for by local taxes π« .
I think itβs pretty cool that almost every municipality in Norway now has βequipment librariesβ where you can borrow gear for free β like footballs, tents, skis, bikes, helmets, kayaks, hammocks, etc.

People often ask me for a recommendation of a one and done tool for dialog cleanup. It doesn't exist. They all do things slightly different. I had to use a combination of 6 tools to force dialog on a broadcast episode to be audible and intelligible. I need a nap π
.

It's funny having crows with their babies in the yard. The babies are whiney it's funny to listen to them & the parents telling them to come do the thing I'm showing you. Baby crow is very much saying "just feed me I don't wanna do it myself". Try to record them & all is silent.

For the longest time the comment box didn't work in Pro Tools (in the years). It finally works so I can label what's in tracks. I share tracks for certain things so it's nice to have that back. I don't care to work with 500 track sessions.MIDI finally works as expected.yay.

I was devastated when this happened to one of my Land Before Time movies . Equally sad recently I had to lay to rest a bunch of Gameboy Advanced cartridges that just stopped working despite being stored properly.

I will never not laugh at the irony when an audio software company is trying to sell me repair stuff but the VO is loaded with spit that it sounds all sorts of nasty in my headphones π
