Why yes, my favorite, fairy ring. 🍄🟢 Caused by soil fungi like Marasmius oreades expanding outward in search of food. The term “fairy ring” comes from ancient folklore-where mushrooms formed circles where fairies danced. Your turf = the dancefloor. #FriskyFairyRingFriday

How does the song go? Black eyed Susan fields forever?? This is my planting date/method trial. I am comparing a fall, winter, and spring planting date using different methods: hydroseed, TruAx drill, and broadcast. It’s mesmerizing to see these flowers move with pollinators!

The turf team installed eighty @Soil_Scout soil moisture sensors on the bent grass green this week! These underground sensors provide accurate and actionable information about soil conditions. The sensors continuously measure soil moisture, salinity, and temperature.
