Data from Timor Leste provides a case to why and how long-term collaborative international aid support matters for some social activists, legal reformers and practitioners who are passionate about fighting against existing power structures for transformative changes.

The article will be helpful for those who are thinking about the varied dynamics (both positive and negative) sides of international aid, as well as ā€˜failures’ and ā€˜successes’ of international aid.

My paper looks at international aid efforts to tackle corruption. I propose compromises as another possibility for facilitating regulatory change, which in turn shape the regulatory limits of the new law and institutions for addressing corruption in the country.

Well, what is scholarship without research time? Yet again another instance where the logics of management and economic efficiency undermine the purposes of academy.

My university is proposing that from now on research should only form 10% of our workload. So glad to know that senior management think doing research is some kind of optional extra for academics, bet that will really pay off in the next REF.
