Its raining everywhere except Bihar and other NE states, esp known for rains i.e. Megahalaya and Assam. A bumper monsoon this year means a natural stimulus package for the economy. Modi ji is lucky. Helps him to mitigate some of the economic challenges.

Bihar is beyond Patna too. This is creating a disparity similar to what is seen on a national level by Govt of India. A few states receive the bulk of resources while other regions are left behind.

Wanted to avoid writing this but couldn't resist. Govt of Bihar's digital presence is still that of 90s era. Most of govt websites, PPTs they use for marquee events, branding materials all being third rate. Even in this age public utility websites/apps like South /North Bihar.

Don't know if that's a true story or a made up one. but there's a story that Dr Sachchidanand Sinha's self-esteem was hurt when he saw a Bihari wearing a "Bengal Police" badge. The Bengali dominance in almost all jobs - administrative & otherwise - and the general joblessness.

Bihar is deeply caste-ridden.
