The attitudes of violent ignorance people approach the colonialism in HNDR with (re: apologism & denial) are reflective of their mentality to real world colonialism…or well, that is what I personally believe—because if you cannot conceptualize certain rhetoric even in fiction….

I wish Eva’s execution wasn’t what it was because there is commentary in the coercion of indigenous peoples by colonialist powers—in forcing them to fight in wars that aren’t theirs &/or against their own peoples && the literal loss, if not extinction, of identity in that.

They call me the rambler…anyways . I guess the closest depiction would be 006 Eito, then CoT—but neither fit the empty space of my puzzle exactly for their own reasons (obvious or not…).

When I want to thiiinnk of him as having the capacity to be nice in his own waayyy without needing to appeal or appease the others’ sense of normalcy…but, again, this needs not only a happiness outside of conventional boundaries—but also a self-acceptance.

So to say, I suppose, this hc involves an integration into the SDU that doesn’t cause him to feel forced into changing himself; not specifically irt the self-harm, but the discomfort he takes & tolerates too…or well, he is willing to be uncomfortable if it’s what’s nice & normal.

Or well, the idea is thaattt: I imagine the things he’d [have learned to] derive happiness from [through his lifestyle & experiences] to differ from what people tend to care about && concern themselves with…though he’d have wanted / wished for it once upon a time.

But, Ik for myself & mine own indulgence—I like to entertain the hc of Eito as a person who continues to be uncompromising…in the sense of still being able to have his own happiness, even if it isn’t defined by convention or expected normalcy……difficult to explain reallyyy….

Realistically, I am more than aware thaattt Eito is the type to long for a conventional happiness—be it attained through a self-imposed conformity to the collective sense of normalcy, or otherwise achieved by a state of being close to such a thing…the thing is: he’s willing…….
