Undertaken by the Gardens Team, the process of moving floral tributes from the Norwich Gates has now commenced on the Sandringham Estate. Access for vehicles along Dersingham Avenue and through the Estate along Scotch Belt still remains prohibited until further notice.

West Lawn Redevelopment Plans 🌳 Works will soon commence to transform an area inside the formal Gardens. The Garden area to the west side of Sandringham House kept as a large expanse of lawn in recent years, is to be transformed into a new climate friendly Topiary Garden.

The parish church of St Mary Magdalene, Sandringham, has held memorials to many of the Royal Family from Queen Victoria onwards. Used regularly as a place of worship by the Royal Family & Estate staff, the Church is open to visitors from 12-4pm Monday-Saturday & 1-4pm Sundays.

In recent years the Estate has committed continuing to improve its conservation management. An example of this is an area of arable land that has been converted to agroforestry - a system of farming which integrates the growing of crops & livestock in woodland or amongst trees.

All 300 trees in the maze have been rescued from a local farm as they didn’t quite make the grade as a retail tree. Following their festive season at Sandringham the trees will be collected by @break_charity and then used by Banham Zoo to feed the animals or chipped & for mulch.
