I don't really have anything to show. I'm trying to wrap my head around javascript's quadratic function for easeInOut movements. Conceptually, I get it. How I can manipulate it is hard.

We're back baby! After an extended holiday from web dev, today marks the first day of the new year I added something new to the code. Well, it was actually a pull from GitHub. I'm experimenting with different ways to make a carousel work.

The new plan is to run the order switching, without touching the array, until the original positions, then remove the classes/animations. I know I said I might run the frame-by-frame in #javascript but honestly I have no idea where to begin and I'm too afraid to look it up.

So remember how I said the animation might not work when making an array of my cards and then switching their order when the button is pressed?. It didn't work. There was no way to loop it because removing the animation at the end removed their new positions. 😬. #coding #webdev.

I haven't posted #coding here for minute because I am practicing #ProjectManagement with maps, plans, and tasks. Idk if this will help my #programming but I need to clean my garage and doc my #gamedev and someone smart told me #LEAN and #5S can do it.

Nothin exciting or new today. I'm figuring out how to remove the animation classes from the array of elements. animationEnd eventListener won't work because my array gets reorganized during the animation. Plus, I may have to animate in JS anyway cuz of the frame lag during. #code.

So I wanted to use transition on the other two cards as the 1st moves up and back. Since animation changes properties same as transition, the element jumps from one to another. Now I'm prepping different animations but it seems overthought.#coding #html #javascript #css #webdev.
