WATCH: A Muslim woman on Turkish TV explains that after “learning Islam” she stopped speaking. She says a woman’s voice is awrah and that even a hum could offend Allah. This is the ideology being normalized. How is this compatible with freedom or basic human dignity?

Look what this high school has done. They’ve got rid of the traditional uniform and now dress the students pretty much like supermarket workers! Anything to change and erase our culture.

Connie, I get the whole long skirt thing because I was wearing a very long skirt because my mum thought I would grow (I didn't, I'm still 5ft1). But Skirts shouldn't be banned, sorry. It's a choice. Banning is never the answer!!!
This is a good policy and I think schools everywhere should do the same. The amount of time spent at school over skirt lengths was ridiculous. If your skirt was inappropriately short — which many were — teachers rightly had to spend time dealing with this. If your skirt was
