State of women & minorities is dismal in Pak. Govt in #Pakistan is indifferent to their day-to-day atrocities. Govt is not interested in stopping these discriminatory acts against its people. Institutions are failing to provide justice to the people. #FailingPakistan @Taimur_Laal

#ManzoorPashteen’s warning should worry anyone who cares about democracy: Pakistan’s military establishment behaves like an inherited monarchy, issuing orders, suppressing dissent, and shaping national policy without accountability. 1/ @umerpashtoon @pashtunistan041

In #Pakistan, watching state agents drag a young girl like she’s an object is terrifying. This isn’t “security”—it’s terror. Our own agencies abduct women with impunity, punishing them for existing, speaking, resisting. 1/2 @hrw @UN_Women @fispahani

A woman questions injustice? She’s “anti-state.” She demands protection? She’s “creating chaos.” Pakistan punishes women for existing with a voice. This isn’t law — it’s a system built on fear, patriarchy, and the obsession to silence every brave woman. @LodhiMaleeha

This is the tragedy of a country so terrified of its own daughters that it punishes those who dare to speak for justice and dignity. 2/2 @LodhiMaleeha @fispahani

The condition of women in Pakistan is miserable. Raising your voice isn’t treated as dissent but as treason. When a woman demands her rights, the state brands her a threat. 1/2 @LodhiMaleeha @fispahani

What happened to Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi, and Dr. Uzma Khan is a disgrace for the entire nation. Too many people ignore injustice when the women targeted belong to a rival political camp. No female worker or supporter of any political party should ever have to face such

Whatever their political affiliation may be, women cannot be treated this way! How can #Pakistan’s police push and harass the sisters of Imran Khan, who are simply seeking to meet their brother? 1/2 @javerias @HarmeetSinghPk

Families terrorized, leaders disappearing, selective prosecutions—all are symptoms of a system where rule of law is subordinate to strategic expediency. Without structural reform, such cycles will repeat. 2/2 @AiliaZehra @aimaMK

The deeper danger lies in precedent: a state that oscillates between sponsorship and suppression erodes public trust, undermines legal norms, and fuels radicalization. 1/2 @AiliaZehra @aimaMK https://t.co/yvqi2Jxmcx

On #InternationalDayForTolerance, @CMShehbaz celebrates ‘interfaith harmony’ & Minorities Rights Bill 2025. Lovely speeches — yet, minorities are still being attacked, displaced, jailed, or declared non-human. 1/2 @FaqirShiva @HarmeetSinghPk https://t.co/NoDkd0CY8N

Imagine: uniformed men breaking into your home, shouting at your children, humiliating women of your family — all because they know they can get away with it. This isn't security. It is state-backed intimidation. & it’s happening in #Pakistan, again & again. @yazdanifauzia

Faith was never meant to be forced with fear. #Pakistan doesn’t need more mobs; it needs mercy, justice, and truth. The real fight isn’t against one party — it’s against the mindset that glorifies violence in the name of religion. #BanTLP @muneebqadirmmq @MunizaeJahangir

From Zardari’s routine sacrificial rites in the Presidency to Nawaz Sharif’s long-standing deference to Tahir-ul-Qadri, successive rulers have repeatedly substituted serious governance and reform with rituals and mystics. 2/2 @Taimur_Laal @MonaChaudhryy
