10:01 | Q4 A 54-yard field goal from the Trojans all but puts this game away. I don't know if Michigan scoring just 7 points or Michigan getting out-gained on the ground (119 to 186) is more surprising. Probably the latter. 24-7, USC

10:45 | Q3 USC shows it can beat Michigan on the ground, too. 68 yds + TD by Miller. Drive was buoyed by an explosive run, on which both Hillman and Berry missed tackles. Michigan's defense emphasized tackling after Wisconsin, but has had some crucial misses today. 21-7, USC

12:41 | Q3 An OPI stymies Michigan's first drive of the second half, and Underwood can't make it to the first down as he tries to keep it and run. McCulley talking to him as the two walk off the field. Poor punt from Michigan gives USC the ball at their 48-yard line. 14-7, USC

END Q2 With 18 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, Jayden Maiava hits Makai Lemon on a corner fade. Lemon is one of the only receivers in the country who can make that catch. No margin for error there. Michigan will start with the ball in second half. 14-7, USC

3:09 | Q2 Michigan's best drive yet, defined by some big plays at crucial moments. First, a catch by McCulley in a tight window for a first down. Then Marshall muscles through several tackles. Then Underwood, facing pressure, dots McCulley in the end zone with a dart. 7-7

END Q1 So far, an efficient drive from Michigan. Underwood hitting Marsh and Haynes averaging 5 yards a carry. Michigan put Hansen and Klein on the field at the same time but has used at least one for blocking. If Haynes can keep it up on the ground, watch the TEs. 7-0, USC

FINAL, 24-10 After a rough half offensively, Michigan really turned it around in the third quarter. McCulley had his best game as a Wolverine, Haynes continued the 100+ yards per game streak, and Marsh looked like a promising option. Defense was great.
