In multiple games against multiple teams, the Pacers have put the clamps on one of the NBA's biggest trends: slide cuts On their unique coverage, zoning up w/ the low man on the full side, & how even w/ a 6-18 record they're still finding a way to find a different way link in🧵

Two great BLOBs from Wasatch academy. Both are simple actions that use slight misdirection to throw a defense off and attack with pace to take advantage.

I love this 77 skip counter from Creighton with the defender cheating triggering the backdoor and now the action turns into Chicago action coming the other way.

Everytime I watch Michigan State, I am astounded at their ability to crowd offenses. They are an elite gap defense team with a potential Big Ten DPOY in Jaxson Kohler. They're best at eliminating double gaps with their heavy help, making every drive feel like a single gap.

UNC Horns Stagger Twirl Rip Clumping three players together is a great way to create confusion and allow for a misdirection play like this to work.

Game winning set from La Lumiere with the big shot from Jacob Webber (Purdue commit).

Nice lob set from a baseline out of bounds from Wasatch academy. Really like watching this team play, they are unselfish and do a great job executing their triggers in the half court.

Why has nobody talked about Zach Cleveland. This guy is basically much watch television for an awesome Liberty team. He averages 11 pts 9 rebs and 8 asts(!) at 6'7"

Overall Notes: - UConn's offense was reliant on the coaching staff scheming an advantage. - Bradley left some post passes on the table. - Solo really struggled creating or maintaining an advantage using the dribble. - Best perimeter defenders under Tommy Lloyd?

Final real possession and it demonstrates all the issues UConn had. They can't create an advantage using screens and they can't get to the rim off the dribble.

This is a tough job and maybe some fatigue from Karaban but he doesn't hard hedge the screen and Arizona gives it to Peat who attack the rim with force.

UConn really loves running Karaban under the drag screen in semi-transition. And ya know, I can't blame them with Karaban igniting Storrs.

To attack the hard hedge, Arizona tries this rocket action with the second big flashing as a pressure release. It doesn't work with UConn providing great pressure and forces a post miss.

Like I said above, I love Arizona through in the wrinkle of Peat starting in the corner. Karaban is a good defender but he has basically no chance.

UConn adjusted to hard hedge PnRs and I thought it did a great job of taking away Arizona's rolling bigs. Unfortunately, Bradley has made it a habit to finish these circus shots.

UConn goes into ram BS exit and not having Krivas on the floor makes attacking the rim possible.

UConn goes with a horns flare action to attack the drop coverage. Yet, the inability to create separation from their screens is glare.

Does anyone else feel like Tommy Lloyd has another Pelle Larson with Kharchenkov?
