I quickly recognized a familiar shape. I held up my tattoo dedicated to my dad and sure enough the lines matched up. In the same bin we then found more iterations of the original “splash” logo giving even more reason to believe this is where the iconic Sam Bass logo originated.

Inspiration can strike anywhere! For a little bit of backstory here, @HarrisLue and I (@MarkBassDesign ) looked back through some of dad’s personal files where we stumbled upon a folder of magazine clippings labeled “splash” from the 80’s. (See thread for continuation)
