Great fun today to be able to take our NCI-@NVIDIAAP #HPC #AI #Hackathon participants through the NCI building to visit the Gadi supercomputer. Naturally, they were most excited to see the #GPU nodes that they have been programming on for the last two weeks! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Zeta Ophiuchi is a star with a complicated past, having likely been ejected from its birthplace at ~160,000 km/hour when its companion star was destroyed in a supernova explosion. A new look with Chandra tells more of the story of this runaway star:
