Sad news to read - before my time but fondly remembered by many I've spoken to. Thoughts with his family and those close to him. RIP Gary.

Our thoughts are with Matija's family, friends and team mates. Utterly horrible news to be waking up to. Great talent on loan with us previously, such a tragic loss at just 26. Once a Salopian, always a Salopian. ππ§‘
Tragic news from Montenegro. National team goalkeeper Matija Ε arkiΔ has passed away at the age of 26. May he rest in peace. Hopefully our boys honour him tomorrow.
