It's finally complete. Impression of Vityaz MVD in 1993, an all-time favorite of mine. This impression is based on several highly publicized photos of Vityaz while they occupied the Ostankino television center during the events of October 3, 1993.

Selling some unique items from my collection. — Very rare Bi-color KM-L suit, used by MVD in early 90s. $600 — Kompact vest, used by MVD through the mid 90s. $225 — “Mirage” vest, used by MVD in early 1990s. No armor. $225.

Wow, what a kit.

To add further to this, I have interests outside of post-Soviet Russia. West Germany in particular is one of my favorites and I plan to do reenactment soon of GSG-9. I just happen to find 1990s Russian MVD the most interesting, historically speaking.

Whenever a post of mine gets a lot of attention, people ignore in my profile that my reenactment is purely non-political. I don't reenact because I support a particular government. It's not a wholesale endorsement of a particular "side". It's just a hobby. Simple as that.

Impression of a unit member during the 1993 Russian Constitutional Crisis, based on a single photo reference from a photojournalist. Not much is known about which specific unit this individual belonged to, though it’s likely he was part of the VV MVD or perhaps KGB/Alpha Group.
