Today I learned that TikTok isn't accessible in China. TikTok's Chinese counterpart is Douyin, which has mandatory age-based time limits and censorship. So China bans US internet companies, has only Douyin (restricted TikTok) domestically, but wants American kids to use TikTok.

Decided to learn hardware during break so naturally the first step was LLM-controlled hardware, in this case a toy voice-activated home automation system. Gotta say hardware is harder to debug but seems a bit more fun.
