One think I think is so interesting is how the majority of people reacted to Rue’s sister, Gia in Euphoria
“Why is she even here”
“She adds nothing to the storyline she just cries in the corner”
And the whole time that’s the point. Bc Gia is a Glass Child.

My heart has always ached for Gia. Especially her being the one who found Rue when she was overdosing. 💔 I think she is an amazing way to show how a sibling in that situation could also be affected. Therefore she is important to the show in my eyes

I thought that was the point of Gia in season two Lesley said shes failing math and Rue looked up at her. I thought that was a significant point on how Rue’s addiction affected her. It’s also why a lot of people were also upset that Gio was not a part of season two

My younger brother was a glass child. I always (and still) have so much medical shit going on. Now as an adult he’s secluded & hates attention. We’re super close though. Gia plays a minor, but super impactful role!

That's why I was waiting for Gia episode in s2 to see everything from her point of view as the invisible child, how her dad death and rue overdose affected her bt Sam didn't bother all he wanted to show was abusive nate and oversexualized Cassie

first time i watched euphoria, i instantly clicked with gia, the fact she was so overlooked and she too had trauma but no one cared to discuss cause she “just cries” and “doesn’t add anything” her character is so important to me
