Today we had the pleasure of completing Rods First Aid course. Last time he could not finish the training due to an incident at his school. Rod attended a serious assault where he used the contents off the bleed control kit to undoubtedly save a young mans life.@TheDanielBaird1

Getting ready to pack car ready for our busy return to 2026 tomorrow. A reminder of why we do what we do was appreciated. ❤️

Excellent QA L3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) 2 day course at Fort Dunlop taught by Stu. Thank you- this course needs to be on national curriculum. E.g. CPR with defibrillator can increase out of hospital cardiac arrest survival from 8% to over 50% @safeaidservices

Lots will do it cheaper. To do training to the platinum standard there are unseen costs that are not seen. After each session training equipment must be sterilised and replacement of every consumable. Gucci or primark both do a job but there is a difference. #firstaidbirmingham

A simple update for our social media followers is a slight change in AED pad placment. On adults the pad on patients left is now place higher up under armpit (try to avoid breast tissue). On infants the front pad is now slightlymore to the infants left rather than central.
