A great chap and the best motor mechanic in the world. That's what Cecil claimed and I believed him.
Yesterday, we were privileged to attend the funeral service of former chorister, 93 year old Cecil Edghill. So touching to know how important the #choir & #singing was to him. Don’t think we’ve ever had our choir photo featured in a funeral order of service before! RIP Cecil🎶🎹

Remembering Donald Clarke who’s funeral took place today. Donald was the original Bank of Delph, Greenfield, Dobcross and Uppermill. The world’s only bank manager who was recognised as a wonderful fiddler. RIP Donald from all your friends at Saddleworth Male Voice Choir.

I remember playing for Oldham College against Diggle in the SEL League. Special “well done” to George.
Diggle Football Club, reformed in 1959 after Diggle AFC disbanded in 1955, celebrates a landmark 60th birthday in 2019.
