Today was tough I saw a little 4 year old who is struggling with loss, she is strong and resilient, I cried after they left.. I told her that her mother was now a star in heaven, watching over her and smiling at all the good things she does.Loss is hard.
In 1996 we were paid sitting allowance for attending a leadership training course,I just discovered the money now in a sealed envelope whilst doing spring cleaning.

We have a demoralized group of pre Interns, Medical students and over worked SHOs and Consultants. It is difficult to talk about medical heirachy with out the interns. A break in the deployment process is taking a toll on the whole medical industry.

If you are generally a decent human being, it's important to remember that the way some people react to you may not be about you, but about them. It is their own insecurities they are battling with; you just happen to be the light that makes them visible.
I did my internship at Nsambya Hospital 1995/1996.Internship contributed to alot to my further training as a medical doctor. My immediate supervisor at the beginning of the internship was very honest about the terms and references of our placement. In his words:
80% of people who have Covid-19 have mild disease and will get better without any medical intervention, it is the 15% who get moderate disease and the 5% who become the most ill who need hospitalization. No one can tell if they will be in the 5%.

How I wrote my research proposal draft in the year 2000 and then gave our secretary to do the typing. If you had a terrible handwriting the first draft would be horrible. She would then save your work on a 💾 floppy disc so that you could edit.Thank goodness for tech literacy
Friday vibes 👏🏾❤️❤️"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.” - Mark Twain
