I love the esport, but this is true. In the short time Cosmi has been back as well, the amount of expenses we’ve had are insane. And we’re nowhere close to the size of SSG.
We’ve hit a point where rostering a team for the RLCS has FAR outpaced the potential revenue that can be brought back in. Teams are entering into a very long off-season, and orgs will be looking at what makes sense for them based on what we know from this year and what’s to come.
