This is the kind of stuff we need more media hostility towards instead of wondering where Amy Adams-Strunk is all the time
#Titans Nick Holz on tempo offense: We'd love to do tempo but you gotta get a first down first. Until we can put together a drive and actually move the ball we can't go tempo. You don't want any 12 second drives. You almost have to rat the right to go tempo.

Insane secondhand embarassment watching this. Don't know how anyone can take this guy seriously
It’s crazy that Michael Lombardi is considered super sharp in football circles when he devotes his time to using a typewriter instead of modern technology AND thinks nobody will notice that hairpiece

How am I just now discovering that Eric Morris (Cams coach at UIW & WASU) was Kingsbury's OC for like 6 years at Texas Tech where they developed Mahomes together??? If you can line up that HC/OC combo for Cam in Tennessee then that's officially my #1 HC choice

I dont know if Brinker & Borgonzi are good at their jobs, but I absolutely feel for them. I don't think either of them have once taken the podium & not been met with hostility, regardless of the occasion. Even at Borgo's intro presser. The media has never even given them a chance
Seeing everyone be pissed about Brinker & Borg’s presser and then fired up about Mike McCoy’s makes me feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I feel the total opposite.

Interesting Mike McCarthy tidbit I just noticed: When he took over in GB in 2006, he inherited sophomore 1st round QB Aaron Rodgers. Would be the exact same setup with Ward if he were the Titans choice. @titansfilmroom @JustinM_NFL might be worth diving deeper into at some point

Genuine question: What is it about Joe Brady that has him at the top of so many peoples list? Failed in Carolina, inherited prime Josh Allen and has done an average job in Buffalo. Bills fans can't stand him. What is the appeal here? One year at LSU?

This narrative is getting tiring. Exactly how are a bunch of grown ass men who get paid to write a 1000 words or less going to hold a billionaire accountable just by asking her obvious questions that will get predictable answers.
@JHarrisCigar @stoned_titan She'd doing the hiring and firing, and she sends others out to be accountable for it. If she had to be accountable for it, maybe it would actually get better. No consequences for her.

I guess it's no surprise that the Music City Audible pod is the only Titans content I can stand these days. Out of everyone that covers this team, Justin is the only sane voice in the Titans twittersphere today (TicTac too but no free shoutouts for him)
I continue to be bewildered by anyone frustrated with Brinker. Brinker gained power in January of this year. Before that, he reported to Ran Carthon. What you think he was just going rogue doing his own thing while Carthon was in charge? THAT's how people get fired. And who GAF

@titansfilmroom Because Brinker is just as guilty and yet he still has a job. Amy nowhere to be found.

The tone from Titans media in the Brinker/Borgonzi press conference was very confusing to me. All due respect to the Titans beat, but why are you grilling Brinker as if firing Callahan wasn't obviously a necessary move? We can all see how bad the team is. It's all any of us have

This is what I've been saying all day. The Titans media is a joke right now. They're tone deaf as to what Titans fans actually care about and they waste time being hostile to the FO about things that do not matter. Brinker looked confused throughout that presser and rightfully so

"Where is Amy?" "Chad why should fans trust you to hire a coach?" I get these are meant to be "tough" questions to hold the team accountable, but we all know they only get us scripted PR approved answers. I want actual pertinent information about the team, not coach speak

Lets hope Mike Borgonzi is better at building a football team than he is at answering questions. He is giving the laziest answers and just waiting for this presser to be over

The Titans literally have some of the whiniest media members I've ever seen in sports. Consistently blowing non-issues out of proportion because they are minorly inconvenienced. It's actually unbelievable to witness
I don’t understand the hand-wringing over them not doing a presser yet. Not sure what difference it makes. Hell do it tomorrow morning. Stuff like this just doesn’t move the needle for me at all.

Exactly this. Chasing away potential coaching candidates should not be a concern that anyone has. Nobody wanted the Panthers/Jags jobs and Canales & Coen are doing just fine.
If a candidate is nervous to take the #Titans job because of the ownerships actions with the previous hires, they aren’t fit to be the guy anyway

Correct critcism of Titans ownership: Hiring Ran, hiring Callahan, Not firing Callahan when they fired Ran Incorrect criticism: Ownership is trigger happy and emotional and fires people too quickly

This is true which is why doing it today is the right move Option 1: Fire Callahan today and get called trigger happy Option 2: Fire after Pats game and get called trigger happy AND emotional Option 3: Fire week 8 & beyond and actively harm your team Option 1 all the way
Mike Vrabel controlling the timing of things. #Titans know things will be bad Sunday, don't want to do it after which would make it seem like Vrabel prompted the move, so they do it before.
