If the Royals trade 6 years of Cameron for 2 years of Donovan I'll be livid. Donovan is a good player but he doesn't really move the needle. He's not the impact bat we need
Over 17 teams have called St. Louis on Brendan Donovan - a few of them have went as far as discussing names. KC and Houston are 2 of those teams - with about 7 others getting past preliminary talks. The Royals willingness to include SP Noah Cameron plus in a deal - no trade

Bob Nightengale constantly being wrong might be my favorite thing on this app

Not interested in Jesus Sanchez. Jake Meyers isn't worth giving up one of our starters for. Isaac Paredes would be interesting but that would require moving Garcia off of 3B
Jon Heyman on Astros right now: “the Astros are looking for YOUNG pitching, teams like the White Sox, Royals and Pirates the Astros are staring at, a trade is more likely then a signing a pitcher free agent”

My #spotifywrapped2025 A little surprised on the top songs but otherwise this is what I would have guessed

Interesting thought... If the Royals were to move Ragans to Boston for Duran plus a couple other pieces, they could then try to move prospects for Gore who also has ace potential. Pretty unlikely to happen but would be interesting

I also feel like I remember hearing last year that the Mets liked Isbel. So maybe that has something to do with it

This is at least a little bit interesting. I don't think he's somebody I would give up one of our starting pitchers for though
The following teams are “exploring upgrades in center field” according to @Ken_Rosenthal and @katiejwoo -Philadelphia Phillies -New York Mets -Rays -Orioles -Arizona Diamondbacks -Kansas City Royals Astros open to moving OF Jake Meyers for a controllable major-league starter

On one hand I do not like hearing that Ragans it's not off limits but on the other hand with his injury history is he a ticking time bomb? Would it be better to get a stood outfielder for him? I don't know that's a tough one
Royals GM J.J. Picollo: “A lot of teams are looking for starting pitching, so if we have what they may be interested in & they have an OF that would be of interest, then there’s potentially the opportunity…” Cole Ragans? “I wouldn’t say off limits”. Jarren Duran perhaps?

7 years 210 million for Cease seems insane. Two out of the last 3 years he's been basically league average, albeit with a lot of strikeouts. I think they will regret that deal big time a few years in

He also walks a ton. He would be a great fit either at leadoff or in the 6-7 spot

If he would waive his no trade clause, Ian Happ would be a great target for KC. Yes he only has one year of control left but he's a switch hitter with decent power and plays a solid left field. Might be able to do a one for one with Bubic going to Chicago. No idea of he would
