Our guidance to newsrooms in the wake of the Atlanta shootings: 1/ Take caution with language in coverage that could fuel hypersexualization of Asian women. In describing the businesses affected by the shootings, avoid terminology & connotations of prostitution or sexualization

The events of the last year or two have led management at a LOT of diff't newsrooms/audio shops to make much-needed change in how they do business. But it's important to remember that memories linger, & you can't write a new chapter until you erase the old one, and atone for it.
