she always has to rely on someone or something and in this case it was rhaenyra because she was hopeless. she felt left out by everyone in her family and her only option was rhaenyra but she didn’t want to face any accountability. someone like that hardly represents these traits.

this comes from no shade at all but alicent does not represent hope or freedom simply because she chose to swim in a lake and meet rhaenyra in secrecy. she’s still hopeless, can’t make decisions or stand her ground, refuses to take accountability and lacks self awareness.
