The deal adds $4 trillion to the debt, hands away all leverage to the Biden admin for rest of his term, in exchange for freezing/then growing the current woke & weaponized regime, with only 2 yrs of caps designed to fail. Conservatives should fight it with all their might.

@RepChipRoy
The ole DC dance and twirl…then we magically end where we started, in massive debt. This wasn’t a deal it was a travesty. I thought the vote for McCarthy was for accountability and if he didn’t play ball he would be removed? I guess that was hot air too?

@chiproytx
Why do conservatives continue to support the Republican party, when it has proven repeatedly not to support conservatives. They have failed to be a strong party and keep rolling us. It is time to en masse switch to the Independent party.
@russvought
@RMConservative
the problem I have with this is Russ and the "conservatives" are totally unwilling to address entitlements, which are the actual driver of the debt. They want you to think they can meaningfully slash spending with this deal by cutting "woke" funding; it was never true
@russvought
I call for a change of leadership. This is outrageous. We have the power to put an end to this out of control spending and special interest spending and McCarthy is just giving it away. Replace him!
@russvought
You are absolutely correct. This deal is a screaming disgrace and sell-out. The teeny-tiny savings due to raising the food stamp work age to 54 yrs amounts to 0.02% of the $49 trillion in 10-year entitlement costs that are otherwise left untouched. And what good does it do to…
@russvought
Mr. Vought you and your team have done all this work and they just gave you the middle finger along with the rest of working class Americana
@russvought
@chiproytx
We were behind you, not the deal we wanted, but it was palatable. McCarthy, Wth are you giving up all the leverage?? This is a NO! Now what? Goes back to the house?? We had a bill! 😡😡😡😡
