Nobody will help you but yourself. Never rely on anyone. Most people just want to see you fail. Life is full of disappointments. That's what makes life beautiful when you finally find the tiny exceptions. Learn this when I am still around, my love.

My kid packed his project last night and forgot to bring it to school this morning. I saw it as we left the house and it pains me not to remind him. That bitterness as he walked to his classroom was horrible for me to watch, but necessary for him to grow up.

@ruffleseed I’m sorry you’re a bad person surrounded by bad people and have zero community??? Good job raising your kid to be just as terrible and jaded

@ruffleseed The way people learn this is by having a solid foundation to build on first. Are you creating that solid foundation?

@ruffleseed As if being a child & making sense of the world isn't hard enough? You don't know what he deals with all day at school. He won't dare tell you. You would call him a pussy. I hope you apologize & both learn a lesson. Cats In The Cradle-Harry Chapin

@ruffleseed It seems he would have learned the same lesson without your presence whatsoever. Great job dad!

@ruffleseed Learning your parent has a personality disorder is definitely something that will stay with him forever. Remember that when he gets to pick your nursing home. Life is full of disappointments, sugar duck. And karma is patient. 😊

@ruffleseed β€œMost people want to see you fail” should never include parents. What your child has learned is even his parents aren’t a β€œtiny exception”. He might as well be raised by strangers.

@ruffleseed This isn’t true, my son knows he can rely on me. It’s a shame your son can’t rely on his father. Life is full of disappointments, you’re right… your son should know that better than anyone, considering he has a disappointment as a father.

@ruffleseed You did an excellent job of showing your kid that you want him to fail I’m sure he really loved that lesson and will respond to it for the rest of your life very

@ruffleseed Actually what you will learn is it sucks being alone in the nursing home because your kids have no interest in seeing you. Signed a mom with a lot more years of parenting under her belt.
