Math Advisory Council has been a highlight of this year! These kids are leading the charge toward an even stronger culture around math @WestmoorD28!!!
Math Intervention Teacher Rebecca @Stowell28, Instructional Facilitator @RubelDanielle Rubel, and Gifted & Talented Coordinator Trina Newman formed MAC with nine 4th-grade students to focus on a mission statement of "Joy + Math = Our Mission" to engage all students.

The power of a book room is that we can build them to support the work kids are doing in the classroom (and have books in multiple copy sets) which gives kids access to even more texts! 3rd graders are about to be immersed into the world of biographies! @WestmoorD28

Yesterday in 2nd grade, writers asked themselves, “what did the characters say to each other?” as a strategy to add dialogue and revise their writing. ❤️ how this writer took a close look at her writing and decided she could add some talk to add detail to her story! @WestmoorD28
