Presenting on behalf of my team and the Shoalhaven community. Co-creation, flexibility and respecting cultural protocols and practices are key to the success of an afterschool cultural program #ASPAH2022 #strongculturehealthylifestyles @UOWEarlyStart @UOWASSH @UOW @uowresearch.
Fantastic presentation @rstanley_m on feasibility of working with Aboriginal communities to teach about connecting to culture for health. Programs need to be flexible and not be viewed through a traditional western lens. #ASPA2022

We are excited that we can continue this awesome work with Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family Centre and the communities thanks to @LowitjaInstitut funding.
A visit to Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family Centre sparked a relationship between Dr Stanley & the Shoalhaven Aboriginal community. Together, they developed an after-school program connecting Aboriginal kids with their culture. #NAIDOCWeek #sdg10
