Prob calling it too early, but "(aerial, group 1) drone swarms" feels like a meme that won't materialize. "Swarm" has been common jargon for years, fueled by UKR-RUS. Yet minimal evolution towards this paradigm; Doesn't fulfill a tactical painpoint. Maritime maybe different.

Numbers begin to get silly when your counter UAS costs $35k per deployment and the target is $700
shahed-136 type drones (piston engine one way attack) might be in trouble between this and Ukraine doing FPV drone-derived interceptors. Kind of leaves an open question of what will actually tackle the very low end (eg FPV)

Just a reminder when hearing about low-cost cruise missiles like Lockheed Martin’s CMMT or Anduril’s Barracuda M500 that these weapons may be cheap… but they are NOT small. (I’m 6-feet, ~250 lbs)
