This is an important double block, they blocked ChatControl 1.0 extension until 2027 and added privacy safeguards like "targeted only with judicial oversight", meaning that even with repeated votes the whole intent of ChatControl 1.0 is fucked, which is good.
Chat Control rejected for now but they will keep pushing, hopefully blocked till 2027. Also Martin was able to help pass further future restrictions for ePrivacy which is good, they blocked unrestricted scanning.
