I was very impressed with my 1st graders when they counted & told me that there are 2+5+3+1 times 6 triangles here in this kolam when I shared it with them. Couple of them multiplied & told me that there are 66 triangles also. #counting #shapes #strategies #math #art #kolam

Tie & Dye techniques are one of the ancient methods use to add color to fabric. Inspired by the sari I am wearing, which adopted a Japanese shibori dyeing method, my g3 Ss attempted the tie & dye technique with some stunning results #deepavali celebrations at #saisrocks
