Thanks to the @thewestaustralian for a great write-up on our first senior women’s refuge in WA in partnership with @unitingwa. Wyn Carr House will be transformed into accommodation for women aged from 55 who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of #homelessness.

Another big part of the Victorian rental reforms will come into place with the introduction of these minimum standards. Making homes more comfortable and bills more affordable while reducing carbon emissions are what Victorian renters want, and fair enough too.

Too many rentals are like ovens in summer and fridges in winter. And too many tenants are shelling out a fortune on bills because their heater is older than they are. That's why we're bringing in minimum standards for insulation, draught sealing and hot water systems.
