RPCS3 supports the Stop Killing Games initiative in the EU🎮. Many PS3 online-only games are already dead. But it doesn't mean that has to be the norm going forward with future games to come on other platforms. If you're an EU citizen🇪🇺support it here too!.

And of course, for those who have GPUs so old they don't even support Vulkan 1.0, our OpenGL 4.3 render remains available as always. RPCS3 supports as far back as the Radeon HD 5000 series (with Mesa drivers on Linux) and the NVIDIA GTX 400 series with the OpenGL render!.

RPCS3 now requires Vulkan 1.2, instead of 1.0. For you, nothing changes: ALL Vulkan GPUs and drivers we already supported with 1.0 also support Vulkan 1.2. This change will allow us to make use of new Vulkan features to improve rendering performance. stay tuned for those!.

Whatcookie has enabled link-time optimisations (LTO) on RPCS3's core code for the Linux builds. Games that are not PPU or SPU bottlenecked got a speedup. Compiling Windows builds with cmake+clang+LTO is planned in the future. Available since RPCS3 v0.0.34-17475!

We have dropped support for macOS 13. If you're still on this version, you will have to update to macOS 14 or newer to continue using new versions of RPCS3. Reminder that there's no hardware that can run RPCS3 and macOS 13 but not macOS 14.
