Okay, I've begun taking notes for my "Of Age" novel. So far, themes include: having a ready supply of Swiffer products on every floor of my home, routine dental appointments, and targeted whimsy that no one but me sees or appreciates.

I think Coming of Age is an overblown genre, and as a 40+ yo woman, I would deeply appreciate some "Of Age" novels, thanks in advance.

Okay, while I'm impotently raging about things, can we talk about how when you spell "fridge" there is a 'd' in there, but "refrigerator" elides the 'd'? HOW CAN ONE FRIDGE BUT NOT REFRIDGE? Understand it hurts my brain and I have to slow-type refrigerator every time.

Like, the institutions that handle and hold money are always delayed in "processing" but the ones that hold debt are like DING DONG MOTHERFUCKER, rain, shine, birth of their Lord, every dang day.

One thing is how banks take 7/4 holidays, so the paycheck issued to me Fri will not be available until Wed, unless I pay virtual check-cashing fees BUT debt institutions take no breaks, so bills are due as usual. Everything is fine, I'm just chronically annoyed by this dynamic.

I am ready to bring another lit journal into my life, please suggest things. The Believer & McSweeny's are my mainstays. I would like more short fiction and poetry outside that franchise. They need to reliably send out their issues. @shyascanlon I bet you know some good ones.
