In other news, my leg hurts. The leg that hurts when it’s going to rain. It hurts. After three days of rain. California is not waterproof enough for this.

One time, in Iraq, we were getting mortared. No big deal by that point. Someone brought a camel spider into the bunker. Still, always, a big deal. I tried to leave the bunker. @HAmorata did nothing wrong.

And it's done. With the exception of a handful of print books I need to fix on Draft2Digital in December, all of my books have been corrected for errors AND republished. It's over and I don't have to edit all of my books YET AGAIN!!!

What does it mean when you’re buying another author’s book and under “similar books you’ll enjoy” it suggests one of your books? That’s just an accident, right?

Huh. I wrote this book. It’s called “The Operators - Invasion”. It is the fourth book of the series, though, so you’ll probably want to start at the first one.

It still amazes me that I’ll see a review of one of my books, absorb and internalize anything even mildly negative, and completely skip over the positive. That’s not a good thing. And I know I’m not alone on this…

While doing one more (last!) edit on 11 books (10 published), I realized the error I’d been making. Since I “hear” my thoughts, including what I’m reading, I was writing my books as they would be heard of read out loud. That’s not how prose works, Sean…

This whole culture war thing looks exhausting. To engage with it, I’d have to endure a metric ton of crap entertainment. I think I’m going to keep ignoring it all while I do my own thing. The only way to win that game is to not play. Y’all have fun, though.
