my favorite part of driving in PA is the inevitable panicked moment of “???? Is there something wrong with my car/tire ????” And then remembering oh no. It’s just 380. It’s just Like This Here.

Happy #N7Day! #MassEffect is always gonna be close to my heart and one of my favorite franchises! And now all day I’m gonna have to fight off the urge to replay ME2!

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital are devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is." And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

I can’t draw well enough to cleanly express the ideas the way I want but I like thinking through fashion design LOL I can tell you the exact textiles my D&D character’s outfit is made out of. I’m tempted to make Sana’s new coat because technically it’s a kind of wool I own. 😂

One of the best parts of D&D. Is that there’s nothing stopping you from thinking “I think my character needs a new outfit.” And then designing a new outfit for them.

I love when songs have little monologues in them. Bonus points if the monologues are historical references, completely unhinged, or both. It’s just like a fun extra treat.

I’m still laughing over making a 5% chance d100 roll in Crimson Throne yesterday (to gain immunity against some future plot point). My one skill in TTRPGs is rolling low and by god do I thrive in d100 systems where all I need to do is roll under a number.

It’s been revealed that the villain of this novel lives in the rich part of West Springfield and frankly, that checks out.

Part of the fun of reading Holly Black books is when they’re set in New England and reference overly specific locations in Easthampton and you can be like oh I know EXACTLY where this scene is happening

It’s just exceptionally hilarious to imagine the aesthetics of this build though. The ranger and their carefully honed woodcraft has nothing on the bard and their really sick dance moves to navigate the wilderness. You can use tango to solve a riddle. Why not.

(For anyone who cares: Versatile Performance lets you substitute Perform skills for other skills, so Dance can be used in place of Bluff. Bards can optionally get an ability that lets them use Bluff for any INT-based skill. Your mission is then to make everything an INT skill.)

I’m still obsessed with the PF build I discovered the other day which successfully lets you substitute Perform (Dance) for close to 90% of the skills in the game through a bard/investigator multiclass and some shenanigans with masterpieces and versatile performance

I don't care to retweet the meme, but it is not metagaming to 1. assume your characters know the strengths and abilities of the party members they travel with, nor 2. forget the specifics as a player and need to ask.
