I mean, I'm not in medical sciences, & still the idea of "puberty blockers" hinted at me that more things than physical development were being blocked. A child doesn't have the capacity of reasoning like an adult. Puberty is how we get there. That's why we have age of consent. .
In 30 years as a DClinPsych, I have conducted many hundreds of IQ tests. I have never seen results like this. They are astounding (and not in a good way). IQ is a very stable construct. It is not like weight, or blood pressure. It remains the same over the lifespan.
