These cool spring temperatures have a negative impact on our honey bees. Plants and trees need warmer spring temperatures to get their nectar flowing and blossoms out so bees can pollinate, forage, build their combs and produce honey.

🌱It sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t! Celery is one of the easiest veggies you can regrow; Cut stalks 2 inches from the bottom stems, place in a small dish with water. Place near a window & watch the celery regrow #gardeningtips #halfyourplate #dietitianapproved

💸Nobody likes to waste food, let alone money. Make sure you’re storing your produce properly, to get the most bang for your buck. My favourite tip? Keep your ripe bananas away from other produce. #savemoney #producestorage #halfyourplate #dietitianapproved #nutritiontip

Honey bees have a total of five eyes, three on the top of their head and one on either side. These eyes have different roles, the two compound eyes help the bees find food and avoid predators, while the simple eyes help them navigate.
