I knew Drew Struzan painted a lot of movie posters over the decades. But I guess I didn’t realize just how many movies he actually painted. It’s mind boggling the amount of movies he painted posters for. And each one was amazing.

Comic making is an afterthought. That’s clear with the lack of updates for that kind of media, and doubly so with the recent text options completely erased. I’ll probably use it for sketching layouts, but Clip Studio needs to be my go to from now on. 2/2

As much as I don’t want to pay a subscription, I guess it’s finally time to knuckle down figure out how to use CSP better for my comic making. With Procreate’s update, it’s pretty clear it’s a great app but meant for traditional style drawings and paintings. 1/2

More and more lately I don’t want to be part of some industry. I don’t want to follow comic creators and try to do all the things we’re “supposed to” do. I don’t want to post on social media to get followers. I just want to make my comics, build my audience, and do my own thing.

Sometimes I comment on political stuff, but I really don’t want to. It seems to make people feel like they have to either support you or say you’re a horrible person. With that said, DWJ just drew a line in the sand (in some peoples eyes) that didn’t need to be drawn.

Like, on one hand, okay. Cool. But on the other hand, this is the stupid shit government officials are fighting making laws over instead of, I don’t know, working on making real change in people’s lives. Once again I say, these people are corrupt.
California has passed a law that bans excessively loud commercials on streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video. Starting July 1, 2026, ads must match the average volume of the show or movie they accompany.
