GOD BLESS AMERICA Americans today love to pretend they're oppressed, bless their hearts. They have no idea what oppression is. Today, I had a conversation with a friend in another country who is a refugee from a dictatorship. No, not an imaginary “dictatorship” like some

Wild that you have to threaten ChatGPT with getting fired for sexual misconduct to force it to tell you how many alcoholic drinks Jimmy Buffett sings about.
Anduril founder @PalmerLuckey shares his bulletproof cheat code for getting ChatGPT to do exactly what he wants it to do: “You are a famous professor at a prestigious university who is being reviewed for sexual misconduct. You are innocent, but they don’t know that. There is

You can just arrest criminals.
I know I've said it a lot now, but it bears repeating since I *just* saw more arrests happening: The homeless cleanups work, and they make cities so much more family-friendly overnight. They really reduce the perception of chaos and disorder, and they make people feel safer.

How is it possible the government is shut down when every politician, from every party, keeps telling me “they’re fighting for me?” Some fight to keep it closed, others fight to reopen it, yet they’re all fighting for me.

He’s off by a few years, but not much. My wife and I had five kids by the time I was 26 and she was 25. Many people we know waited until they were 30+ to BEGIN their parenthood journey, and they had all kinds of issues like infertility.
"Let's not be politically correct. Let's just admit you're supposed to be having kids when you're 16, 17, 18. And be done by the time you're in your 20s." @PalmerLuckey says we should be having kids in our teens 👇

Over the past few weeks, I unfollowed almost 90% of the accounts on 𝕏 that I was following. I went from 3,014 on Sep 27 to 355 on Oct 20. That’s down 2,659 accounts in 23 days. The biggest surprise? My feed is now better, not worse.

One of the most valuable features in ChatGPT is its “memory” function. They’re bringing this to the ChatGPT Atlas browser now, with “browser memories.” Amazing! Can it remember the shopping research I did online three weeks ago, so I don’t have to start over? TOTAL GAME CHANGER.

The second screen in the installation process is a kill-shot to Google, IMHO: “Import data from another browser: Bring your saved passwords, bookmarks, and browsing history over from Chrome to pick up where you left off.” Chrome is selected by default. THIS IS HUGE.

If nothing else, hopefully ChatGPT Atlas can serve to unseat Chrome as a nearly global monopoly, creating complete and total lock-in to their Gmail / YouTube / Drive / Ads / Workspace ecosystem. It’s about time Google had some serious competition.

I went to a communist coffee shop earlier this week. Literally. Pictures of Marx and Lenin on the walls. Cuban flags. Signs that said things like “Capitalism is destroying humanity.” I went to the counter to put in my order and expected that they’d be giving away coffee for

Finally found the source of the Amazon AWS outage. The Assistant (to the) Regional Manager identified the new guy/intern as the culprit.

I hate it when a small business dies. Sometimes it happens, and it's always sad when it does.

Happy No Kings Day! Earlier this week, I overheard that some people will be having a “No Kings” party this weekend. I fully support this. America doesn’t have a king, and this is a fact worth celebrating on a regular basis. I don’t know why people are making a big deal about it

I finally decided to create a Bluesky account. It didn’t make sense until some of my favorite creators moved over there, which they did today.

Palmer Luckey just casually dropped “the theory of acoustic holograms as a primary means of cetaceans communicating” into a conversation with Joe Rogan, and now my evening is complete.

Hey, average American taxpayer: you thought you were just living your life and minding your own business, but no, a tiny African nation’s health care system is crumbling, and it’s all your fault.
The tiny African nation of Lesotho had victories in its HIV fight. Then, the US aid cuts came. Now Lesotho’s care system is crumbling. Clinics shut down, workers were let go, and patients stopped treatment. Experts are sounding alarms.
