It’s just a correction to the original post. I forgot that back in April, the US Army updated its training manuals to classify the M10 Booker as a medium tank, not a light tank, an assault gun, or some vague ‘combat vehicle’. So, it is indeed a Booker tank.
M10 Booker status The 80 M10 combat vehicles already delivered are still expected to receive funding in FY 2026 for program support, covering sustainment and maintenance for two battalions. However, follow-on procurement of the M10 will be halted, much like the fate of the MGS.

All M1128 Stryker MGS were equipped with the 970 lbs Driver's Enhancement Kit (DEK) mounted below the left side of the hull and in the left front wheel housing. The DEK was designed to protect the MGS driver from the deadly effects of mines and Improvised Explosive Devices.

The French Army’s 5th Dragoon Regiment headed to Hinterrhein in live-fire exercises, alongside the Swiss 17th Mechanized Battalion. One of the Leclerc XLR tanks is equipped with an experimental configuration, featuring an anti-drone cope cage and anti-RPG/mine additional armor.

The TOGPK 2.0 turret is jointly developed by the US Army’s Picatinny Arsenal and the US Marine Corps o provide better protection for the gunner, replacing the older TOW Gunners Protection Kit (TGPK).

Some great photos of the M1281A1 JLTV-CCWCA1 show that new TOW Objective Gunner Protection Kit (TOGPK 2.0) has already been fielded to the USMC’s anti-armor companies. Meanwhile, the Army is still using the M1167A1 ECV TOW Carrier, and JLTV A2 with TOW kit is still a long way off

The Cavalry troops currently operate the M2A4 BFV Scout vehicles, which is essentially identical to the M2A4 IFV used by mechanized infantry units. https://t.co/jTKL9enMgu
M2A4 Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) cavalry configuration has a modified rear troop compartment fitted with Armorwork’s ShockRide modular bench seats to accommodate a 6-man scout squad, thus the TOW missile storage rack on the right side has been removed.

Without a doubt, the “M3A4” CFV seen in some video games is a fictional variant. The US Army today only operates the M2A4 BFV, the M7A4 BFIST, and the M2A4E1, which is currently undergoing testing.

According to new K-series MTOE, the Cavalry troop no longer operate any M3A2/M3A3 CFVs. All M3s were converted before 2018 into M2A3/M2A4, which can carry more scouts. Each scout platoon is now equipped with 6 M2 BFVs x 36 scouts, instead of the previous mix of 3 M3s and 5 HMMWVs

The AMX-10RC with improved TGG turret was on display at the Satory 1987 expo in Versailles. TGG is essentially an upgunned TK105 turret, armed with the new CN 105 SI high-pressure gun (later become low recoil 105 G2), capable of firing the same 105x617 ammunition as the AMX-30B2.

The CV90105 ATV and CV9030 IFV prototypes were being tested in the forests of Scandinavia. The former is equipped with TML 105 turret, capable of firing existing L7 ammunition. The latter uses Hägglunds E30 turret, fitted with a Kollsman DNRS sight instead of the Swedish UTAAS.

Laying the groundwork. Make Tanks Great Again!
Mechanized infantry & armor platforms from troop transports to fighting vehicles like this Bradley are vulnerable to cheap, fast, lethal drones acting as aerial IEDs. The @allencontrol systems Bullfrog will reverse that, giving back control to US and allied ground forces.

That's why I'm not a fan of sticking a turret on those big modern 6x6 or 8x8 wheeled APCs
