This thread is a correction to a previous post about export Abrams radio. I mistakenly put the SINCGARS used by the Saudi LAV of the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) on the M1A2S of the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF).

In addition to the Thermal Management System (TMS), the M1A2S can be identified visually by its new VHF3088VM rigid antennas.

The new M1A2S delivered to Saudi Arabia since 2006 are further upgraded with Racal's Panther-V Enhanced Data Radio (EDR), an improved version of the company's Panther-2000V with built-in GPS, which can transmit data to the Inter-vehicular Information System (IVIS) of M1A2S.
