How about this thought experiment. Modi gov in its first year gets 10 world class Indian researchers to come back by promising them $20m grants ($2m a year over 10 years). Over the course of 10 years we get 100 world class researchers in India. Total spend $2bn. Spend another.
If the current geopolitical situation is not enough warning for India to take its science and deep ecosystem very seriously, nothing will ever be. This is no wake-up call. This is existential. We live in a world where every aspect of our lives us shaped by technology and we are.

Not remotely surprsingly that @figma has a top 15 Grindscore amongst all venture backed companies with >100 Glassdoor reviews. Grindscore = % of employees "Positive Business Outlook" / "Work Life Balance." . Low WLB + employees who believe in the company = success.
