Tonight @JATPjazz we have the fabulous Sound of ’59, a septet comprising some of finest jazz musicians in our area. They play homage to such classics as Mingus ‘Ah Um’, Davis ‘Kind of Blue’, Brubeck ‘Out of Time’ and Coltrane’s ‘Giant Steps’ amongst others. Brilliant !

What a genre-obliterating power trio this orchestra IS. Massive evening of garage jazz. So "transporting". In fact, fucking brilliant. Sorry I swear, but @Archipelagojam were absolutely sublime. Love 'em.
Felt real good to get on stage as Original Recipe @Archipelagojam last night and kick out the jams for the lovely @JATPjazz audience. New music and fresh ideas in the mix, which we can't wait to explore. Newcastle types, we'll see you tomorrow at the Bridge for @jazznortheast!
