I’ve also decided that this is a great opportunity to do some fundraising for two special causes that mean a lot to me: the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team and Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT).

Next week I’m taking on a lifelong ambition of hiking to Everest Base Camp. The 80 miles and challenge that comes with altitude sickness as we climb to 17,598 ft are going to push me both mentally and physically, but I’m doing it with three great friends.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Denis Law. I fondly remember meeting him in Aberdeen at a dinner for his Legacy Trust in November 2018. A remarkable career for the only Scottish player to win the Ballon d’Or.

Enjoyed a terrific 26 mile / 42km MTB loop of the Invercauld and Balmoral Estates today. Hard to beat scenery like this and lucky with the weather too.

Throwing on our Christmas Jumpers to raise money for charity and to spread some joy and cheer! 🎅🏻 This year @PandJLive's Christmas Jumper Day will raise funds for Maggie's Aberdeen - supporting anyone living with cancer, and their family and friends, across Aberdeenshire.

It was a pleasure to return to Pittodrie Stadium this weekend to present former @AberdeenFC captain @Russell4nderson with the Scottish Masters trophy in front of the home crowd. A well-deserved victory at an event we hope to make an annual fixture at @PandJLive from 2025.

As part of fundraising efforts for @AFCCT, we have some wonderful limited edition brollies with the Aberdeen skyline made for the Trust’s golf outing that would make an excellent Xmas present. £50 with all proceeds going to support AFCCT. DM me if you would like one.
