Measured Feetech STS3250 speed vs spec: • Datasheet: 0.133 s/60° → ≈75 RPM • Encoder: 5,300 counts/s, 4,096 CPR → (5300 / 4096) × 60 = 77.6 RPM Only ~3% difference — right on spec! #servo #robotics #automation #engineering #Feetech #mechatronics

At Robonine, we use paired Feetech STS3215 servos in our robotic manipulators to eliminate backlash. By setting opposite neutral points, both servos stay in slight tension — keeping motion smooth and precise. #Robonine #Robotics #ServoControl #BacklashCompensation #FeetechST

Feetech STS-3215 servos reached 21–27 kg·cm each (nominal 30). Dual setup delivered 42–46 kg·cm — ~30% loss from torsional flex & uneven load. Boosting rigidity improves torque efficiency. Protection settings = safety, not power. #Feetech #STS3215 #ServoTest #Robotics #TorqueLoss

Feetech STS3215 servo test: ±0.01 mm deviation on a 10 cm arm → ≈0.0057° repeatability (≈20 arcsec). That’s ~15× finer than one encoder step (0.088°) and ~1 % of rated backlash. Excellent precision and stability for fine positioning tasks.

In Aug, our @robo_nine manipulator prototype was estimated at ~$1600/unit, $1000 in 100 pcs. Goal now: <$800 prototype, ~$600 small-series. How? Minus one 1 DOF (no forearm rotation) ~5× fewer parts Payload ↓ 3kg → 1.1kg #Robotics #Automation #Engineering #Manufacturing
