A good milestone to reach on Stack Overflow! Seems if you miss them you can re-enable them via settings.

Good explanation of what caused lots of Windows devices to crash last week:

So if you have issues you are not alone and asking support to change your email to a different one seems to fix the issue assuming you have a second email address

This means no access to view bills or configure things and also meant they could not move me to an eSIM. The account was also inaccessible via the website. It just says that there was an error linking the device and to try later. In Feb I was told it would be fixed in a month.

After 9 months and visiting EE shops, speaking to staff on X/Twitter and a few hours on the phone, @EE were finally able to get the EE app to work for my account by changing my email address to a different one but according to them it still doesn't work for 70% of their customers

Or if you have charged me extra or why. Is it possible to get a bill whilst you continue to “fix” your app and website as it’s taken 4 months so far? I generally only use a small amount of the 50gb data and your text tells me I have 49gb left so please can internet be reinstated?

Trying to link my phone just says “We are having trouble linking your products” and has been that way since last October. The EE shop say it is due to an EE re-brand and online support just tell me to try again so I have no way to access bills or see why you have blocked me.

Just to update this post. It took 6 months then the money was finally refunded so this is now resolved but shame it took so much effort.

@O2 even get as far as sending me a replacement after failing to provide the refund they promised but when it arrives at my door the courier refuses to hand over the device unless I give him the old device O2 are fully aware was lost in transit, so he takes it away again.
