This week we have been with @gheduservice in Doblo Gonno, Assin Fosu and Shama supporting basic schools to develop School Improvement Plans using an approach called 'Managing for Learning' involving parents, learners, management, teachers and community members in co-design.

Management of @ghtvetservice, led by their new Director-General, Engr. Dr. Kofi Adzroe, paid a courtesy call on @TTELGhana today. We discussed progress made in 2024, thanks to @MastercardFdn support, and how T-TEL and Ghana TVET Service can work together in 2025 and beyond.

GES is introducing Values Learning Communities in 98 SHSs. All learners in these schools will participate in weekly self-facilitated sessions on Ghanaian Values such as discipline, integrity and adaptability. We visited training today at Tamale SHS for reps from 13 schools.

We are in Kumasi today with GES, CHASS, NUGS & Lead for Ghana to meet with the Heads of 98 SHSs which are piloting the "Essential Values for Ghanaian Youth Handbook". This Handbook will be facilitated by young people in weekly Values Learning Communities for all learners.

Another day in Ashanti Region visiting schools and 'Oranging the World'. Today we visited Christ the King SHS, Obuasi SHTS and Asare Bediako SHS.

I was in Ashanti Region today with @gheduservice regional staff to meet with teachers and management of SDA SHS Bekwai, Dompoase SHS and T.I.Ahmadiyya SHS Fomena. Great to see the work T.I.Ahmadiyya SHS is doing to promote 16 Days of Activism and tackle sexual harassment.

Yesterday I visited Fumbisi Agric SHS and Awe SHTS in Upper East. As well as talking to teachers about the new SHS curriculum I also spent time with @LeadForGhana fellows including Stephen Yeboah and Gifty Forson, two of my mentees. I am grateful for their commitment and energy.

Our visits with @gheduservice regional staff to talk with teachers about the new SHS curriculum continued today at Kanton SHS, Tumu SHTS and Sandema SHS.

Today I visited Lambussie Community SHS, Piina SHS, Holy Family SHS and Hilla Liman SHS and was impressed by the commitment of teachers to the new SHS Curriculum. Today's visits reinforced the importance of ensuring teachers have adequate ICT resources, we will try to assist!
