Well, that was a lot of fun #TheScrimmage. Too busy working on my match predictions to say you can still get tickets for the launch of ‘Cutting the Mustard’ this Wednesday evening at Carrow Road: #NCFC

Thanks for having me on @BobRutler. Loved chatting about ‘Cutting the Mustard’. You can hear my thoughts on the commercialisation of football from about 30 minutes in. Still time to come to the book launch (or buy the book). More at #NCFC.

A thread to follow below. You certainly don’t have to be a #NCFC fan to enjoy this book, but, to appreciate it properly, you probably do need to have an understanding of the profound role that football plays in many people’s lives ⬇️.
As writer friends will know, it's quite hard to write a novel, and it's even harder to get it published. I don't think I made things easy for myself when I set out to write a literary novel about a couple of taciturn men in the stands of (basically) @NorwichCityFC's stadium.

So pleased you can make it, George. It should be a fun event. Lots of interest already and looking forward to hearing your and others' take on how the commercialisation of our game has affected #NCFC @ffion_.
My Carrow Road debut is coming belatedly - and not because of my football skills. Still, I'm still delighted to have been asked to take part in the launch of Cutting The Mustard by Robin Ireland (@robinHEG). CR, 6th August, 7pm. One for NCFC fans.
