For students who have not been able to participate in research previously, this is a great opportunity to gain critical experience and mentoring in biomedical research. That experience can open doors - just ask our program alumni.
Applications are OPEN for the 2026 Anesthesiology Summer Research (ASSURE) Fellowship! #STL metro undergrads & recent grads spend the summer doing hands-on research, clinical shadowing & professional development — no experience required. https://t.co/gzufBKVZvI

This new class of agonists shows signaling bias, substantially improved peripheral restriction compared to previously reported "peripherally-restricted" CB1 ligands. The result is a dramatic reduction in analgesic tolerance and unwanted CNS-mediated side effects.
